My story
Hank is looking for his furever home through Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Rescue! Hank is a 3-4 year old male Bull Terrier that weighs in around 45lbs. He came into rescue just in the nick of time. He was listed on a euthanasia list in a Texas shelter where nobody was stepping up to save him. Hank was pulled by Blue Ridge and moved to a foster home in Louisiana. Since in foster care, Hank has flourished! Hank is an absolute lover boy. He craves human attention and just wants to snuggle up and be with his people. Hank is a gentleman when it comes to walking on the leash and not being destructive to items in the home that arent his. He Is crate trained and housebroken. Hank is a lower to medium energy level. He LOVES to jump, springing like a bunny! He never tries to escape the fenced backyard though; he doesnt dig either. Hank is super social on the street when greeting people and wants everyone to pet him. His energetic jumping will be too much for him to live with small children. Hank was originally reported by the shelter to be dog aggressive but he has made friends with the male dog in his foster home, not the female though. He may be able to live with another like-sized dog or larger if they have a calmer demeanor and the owner is bull terrier experienced. Hank has learned to tolerate a whole flock of chickens being in his backyard, but we do not want him to live in a home with other critters or cats indoors.
